Met wiken lagi yaaa April 27, 2007

Udah lama juga ga ngapdet, mostly karena gue males or lagi ga mood nulis aja, padahal banyak kejadian penting. Cieh…penting menurut pandangan gue lah.

Sekarang lagi lumayan sibuk cari2 info….tapi belon bisa dishare….entar2 aja dah.

Wah udah weekend lagi…palingan besok ada acara baby shower si Monica Glover di Birmingham, AL. Mudah2an cuaca bagus. Terus minggunya gue bakalan nganter anak2 ke pesta ultah temen sekolahnya di Jumping Gym.
Males siy…cuma ya namanya emak2, kudu dilakoni lah

Pengen bikin mendoan ah…masih ada tempe dari Mrs. Davis (aka Puji, hehehhe). Mayan…. Pengennya sih bikin kayak waktu di resto di Bogor sana…(liat gambar..), mudah2an ga gagal.

Masih ngantuk dah…tidur kemaleman mulu…..

Mother’s Day Program at Jonah’s Class April 26, 2007

Today is a Mother’s Day program for Jonah’s Big Bear Class. They held this program early because the school will be finish soon so there is no enough time to do the Mother’s Day program at the exact date.
So, the mothers were invited to the preschool to watch the performances and had a refreshement after the program. When I entered the room, Jonah gave me a flower (very sweet) and then the teacher took the picture of the two of us. Very nice indeed.
Jonah performed very well, no shy or scared. He is just very independent. I took some picture but not a good one, well, Sam was the one who took nice pictures Jonah was a bunny rabbit in the show… good job, Son.
On the table, I saw Jonah’s craft…. wow.. very nice, as seen in the picture. It was said there that I am only 20 years old and I am a him…hehehhehe….
Fair enough…;)

After having some snacks with Jonah and his class…. I went back home and picked them up at the usual hour.
Thank you Jonah…. I am very proud to be your mother.

TGIF or not? April 20, 2007

Friday….TGIF. Well, not too much an effect for me. It was when I was still working in Indonesia, I was always looking forward to Friday that meant I could get up late, I could gather with my Sunday school friends, I could go to church, shopping etc.
Very nice back then.

Here….Friday is all the same…only every other Friday we get the paycheck..hehhe.

Hmmm..lets see.. the pool people came to take care of the pool and hot tub. We changed the Services because the previous pool lady was not good to work with. The chemistry was not good.
So, hope the new pool service will do better job.

I am sleepy most of the day… I took the melatonin last night, it was only 1 gr but since I rarely take it, made me sleep a lot.
So, I have to be careful next time.

The flowers in the backyard start blooming…thanks to the rain we had last week.
I picked up one rose and put it in our bedroom…. sweet.

This afternoon when the boys were taking their nap, I browsed for some program on TV. I clicked on the program called The Simple Life…and wow, only one words with many repetition for expressing my amazement, YUCK YUCK YUCK YUCK, YUCK, YUCK….
Wow, how they made the cheapest, stupid, non-sense, full of rubbish show like that? well, of course this is my personal opinion. YIKES…

Thursday Activities April 19, 2007

After dropped the boys to school I went to Walmart again to pick up some stuff. Not for a long time and then went home.
I have been liking my new office that had been moved from the guesthouse. So, the guesthouse is Sam’s office only. We put my computer, filing cabinet, table and chair in the front room (that we rarely use, because moslty we use the family room).
So, that is so nice…. I have my own space in the house..without the hassle going to the guesthouse to go to my office. After doing some works and browsing, it was time to pick the boys. Then we went to Caleidoscope ice cream near our house and had some ice cream. In the meantime, Tante Anita called us that she was already in front of our house. Hehehe, she didn’t tell me that she would come by, but we were glad she came over.

The rest of the days was just like usual…..;)

Wednesday….just like another day…. April 19, 2007

Today was somewhat a easy day. Woke up and be ready to drop the boys to their school. Yesterday I went with Jonah and his school to Kindergarten Visit. The school is just behind the preschool…just one block away.
We walked and visited for about 1,5 hours.

Today after dropping off the boys, I went to the Teachers Resources Letter to register for Jonah kindergarten class.
The process was very good and quick. The people there were very friendly and nice. They said I had to schedule appointment for Jonah PHELPS test. Hmm…I wonder what was that. So I google and get some information about it. I also posted it on MP to get more information or other mom’s experiences. And Nuke was nice enough to share her experience. So, that was good.

I went to Walmart for grocery shopping…not too long. I went back and did some browsing too and picked the boys up.
This is how the pick up process from my car… the teachers pick and drop the boys direcly to my car…what a service..;)

After that we went to the store to pick up some toys for the boys…Jonah picked the checker games and River chose the play dough.

Jonah and Sam played the game in the afternoon, but Jonah wasn’t happy of losing. He cried everytime Sam made a good move and took his people. I think he has to learn more …not about winning…but about learning and having fun in the game.

Oh well… another day passed by….almost.

Lazy Sunday Again April 16, 2007

We spent this day just resting at home. I just got out from the nasty flu from one week. Wow, today I woke up just fine, no headache, no drainage on my nose, no sore throat, no coughing….just fine, Thanks God. So, I am back to the saddle again.
I spent almost all day editing, putting the pictures from Indonesia trip to the website.
Thanks to Picasa that has made my work a little bit easier. Before I used Picase, I used Adobe Photoshop and to me it is a lot of work. I am not very ’smooth’ in learning the software, and I tend to use the easiest way to get something done. And Picase has done the work… good job.

So soon I will have all my Indonesian Trip pictures up on the net to everyone’s viewing. Sam got the first one who saw them first. Although he still said that I could have done much better with the big Canon camera, but seeing my cropping and editing job, he didn’t complain much. Oh well, the thing is I don’t like carrying big heavy duty camera like he does. He intends to give me his Canon 20D because he will get himself a EOS-1D Mark III. Hm… I know where he got the idea that I will be OK with that. He said that he didn’t get anything for his birthday yet….huh?
Oh well, once a while he has this big buying….just don’t make it as a trend…;)

What else? hmmm…again, not much.
Now I am sleepy….I try to go to sleep sooner, but Sam and I were talking and we lost track of the time.
Still, that was a good thing….

Preschool Concert and Sick Momma April 12, 2007

Woke up in the morning with the light headache and strong drainage in my nose. My goodness, when the allergy syndrome will go away? it has been quite a while.
I want to feel fresh everytime I wake up in the morning, ready to do the activities of the day.

I dropped the boys to school as usual. Today they will have the International Concert at 12:30 PM so I will be there for my boys, of course.

I didn’t feel to go anywhere so I just went back home after I dropped the boys off their school. I met Sam on our driveway… a bit weird because this morning we had a small argumentation about legal thing (well, I asked him whether both parents have to be in the notary office for certify Jonah’s birth certificate…but since it was to early to talk about the business, he didn’t take it well, and neither did I). Oh well….just the usual stuff….;)

I am here writing with my new iMac. I have a macbook and now Sam gave me this nice iMac with dual operation (Windows and Mac)…so that is very sweet.
Plus now I have my own office in the house. I used to put my office in the guesthouse, next to Sam’s office.

Oh well, I will tell you about the concert after we get back….ok?

We were back from the Preschool International Concert. I will post the pictures later since they are in Sam’s camera. I only took the movie with my camcorder. I was so dizzy and not well back there. I just stood there with my camcorder and recorded whatever happen. So I hope the boys will have something to watch when they grow up…

At home I laid down and we all took a nap. I couldn’t really sleep so I opened my computer…and gosh….the sama stuff… people bitching… I don’t understand why there are some people who like to just fight, argue, bitch with each other.
I don’t want to explain or talk about it here…just wasting my time.

Here I am in the afternoon, still feeling so so. The boys takes turn to go to Sam’s office (aka guesthouse) to play the flight simulator. Sam is very good that way and the boys always are looking forward to be with their poppa, flying a plane.

More time for me….

Lazy Day again April 11, 2007

Today is a gloomy day and it is raining too. I took the boys to school this morning. Jonah was feeling OK after two nights of fever. I hope he is doing OK at school. No call so far from the school I reckon he is alright.

It is not good when the children are sick. The house seems gloomy.

The raining doesn’t help to cheer up the day either….sigh.

Oh well, give thanks anyway, for God is always good to us.

Gotta go to pick up the boys…..;)

We went back from school and nothing much to do.
The boys and I took a nap and sushi dinner for tonight.

Again, not much to do.

The Prodigal Comes Home by Michael English April 10, 2007

UHUYYY, today I got the book of The Prodigal Comes Home (Michael English) that I ordered from Amazon. I have been looking forward to reading this book especially because I am amazed of Michael English and his talented gift. I like many of his songs and his spiritual life. I knew him from Gaither Homecoming Videos and has been Michael’s fan since then.

So, yes, I will read his book and will give you the report later..OK?
