HAPPY EASTER. May the sacrifice of Jesus in the cross, inspires us to be more like HIM.

Today I woke up kinda so so. I got enough sleep but still want more. The boys as usual bugging me for their breakfast, so I made them some breakfast. Then they were off playing by themselves and I went to bed again until 10:00 AM.

I made myself a cup of coffee as usual, then began to browse the net. Hmm..usual stuff, weird people posted trash and hateful posting. I just wonder what is her problem really. She put many hateful sentences and comments towards other people. She and her gank are so hateful in many ways. God bless them.

Well, today I am making gudeg. Not because I want to eat gudeg but because I want an activity rather just sitting here in my breakfast table browsing the internet.

Tonight we are invited to a dinner by our friends here. So, that is good.
Thank God for today… count your blessings, always.

Martabak April 8, 2007

Wow, it has been so long since I updated my last post. I have been having the allergy syndrome. Every morning I woke up with the weird feeling, like under the weather, then sneezing, itchy nose, runny nose, drainage, watery eyes….etc.
Hmmm….not a good match.

I had never had alergy before, so this time when I get it…I feel terrible. But I still manage to take care of the house and food.

To get my mind off the allergy stuff I bought a new cast iron pan for making martabak. Oh well, I have this obsession to make a perfect martabak in look and taste.

Then I made the martabak all from the scratch, including the peanuts that I grinded with the cobek. hehhehehe.

The first martabak turned out well. I was proud of it.
But the second one, I think I put too much dough on the pan, so one side was burnt, the other side was still doughy. Hmm…gotta learn from the master next time I go to Indonesia, hey?
